Concrete Laborer/finisher

**CONSTRUCTION CONCRETE FINISHER/LABORER**
- **MINIMUM 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION.**_

**Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, and travel requirements)
- Finish Various Types of Concrete Surfaces.
- Form & Grade for Concrete Surfaces
- Install Rebar Reinforcement
- Install Various Types of Curbing
- Signals concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete.
- Set/Strip concrete forms an ensuring forms are correct depth and slope.
- Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms.
- Spreads concrete into sections of forms with rake or shovel.
- Levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, with hand held screed and floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping.
- Smooths and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
- Finishes concrete surfaces, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impact finish.
- Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
- Molds expansion joints and edges.
- Produces rough concrete surface with broom.
- Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces.

**Position Dimensions (i.e., communication skills, planning, teamwork, technical knowledge, leadership, initiative)
- Ensure work site is maintained and that equipment is running properly
- Assist work site foreman with all tasks as needed, follow instructions and perform duties as assigned.
- Safely operate equipment and perform mechanic and general labor duties
- Able to lift up to 70+ pounds
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain good housekeeping around the work site.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and Monday through Friday including Saturdays as the business requires.
- Maintain equipment in proper working order.
- Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, peers, operators, and customers serviced.
- Use safe practices in all activities.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
