EMR is looking for a Sales Representative to serve the DC Maryland Metro market. EMR is a leading provider of service, repair, installation and sales to the commercial kitchen and industrial services sectors. Founded in 1927 in Baltimore, MD, we are a 3rd-generation, family-owned and operated business with five service locations across the mid-Atlantic region. Our highly trained technical staff stays on the forefront of evolving technologies to efficiently and effectively service equipment from over 250 manufacturers.
Sales Rep will generate new business for reactive service, sell/maintain contracts to new & existing customers, & nurture favorable customer relationships. Position requires occasional overnight travel, for days at a time. Compensation is base salary plus commission.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience dealing in the restaurant, hospitality, & healthcare segments a plus.
- Must possess strong organizational, customer service and communication skills.
- Should possess a team player attitude and be self-motivated.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other computer programs is a plus.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for tracking sales activities preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years & knowledge of geographical area. Previous sales experience not required but strongly preferred.
