Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Plant Merchandiser to join our team for a seasonal position (April 22-May 19). As a Plant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our plants are displayed attractively and effectively to maximize sales and minimize shrink. This position requires organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and some physical exertion. You may need to lift up to 30 lbs, and should expect to stand and walk throughout the day.

Plant Merchandisers will travel between two stores in Oakbrook and Bolingbrook, IL throughout the day. Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Compensation is $25.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per mile reimbursement.

**Duties**:

- Set up and maintain product displays in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure plants are properly displayed, rotated on shelves, and cleaned as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with Leider Manager regarding restocking needs
- Collaborate with store manager to organize rack displays within the floorspace allotment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise areas
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide plant information to the best of your ability

Qualifications:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to stand, walk, and lift heavy items throughout the day
- Must have reliable vehicle transportation and current auto insurance
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual display guidelines
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Expected hours: 16 - 60 per week
