Job description HannLeb Physics (HLP) is seeking a therapeutic medical physicist for a hybrid position in Johnstown, PA. Johnstown, located 60 miles from Pittsburgh, offers a big city feel with excellent work-life balance. This hybrid role requires three days onsite and two days remote. An excellent collaboration among Radiation Therapists, Physician, and Dosimetrists creates a fantastic working environment at this location. Achieving a work-life balance is facilitated by a schedule of four on-site days and one day of remote work.

DUTIES:
Review patient records and radiation calculations. Perform complex dosimetry measurements and calculations and assemble dosimetry data required by treatment planning system. Verify the accuracy and integrity of dosimetry data. Perform quality assurance and calibrations on medical linear accelerators. Provide training and support for dosimetry staff. Complete initial, weekly, and final chart checks. Provide ongoing physics support for all technical and medical staff.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Master’s Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or a closely related scientific field. Knowledge and experience of the Varian Truebeam platform preferred; knowledge and experience of the Aria EMR platform preferred. Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics required.

Pay: From $215,000.00 per year
