**Job Overview**: We are seeking a skilled GIS Specialist to join our team. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for managing and analyzing geographic data using various technologies and tools to support projects and decision-making processes. **Responsibilities**: - Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS to create, maintain, and analyze spatial data - Build and maintain databases for storing geographic data - Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in spatial data - Collaborate with teams to support land surveying projects - Manage GIS projects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery - Develop and maintain APIs for data integration - Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks related to GIS - Oversee data management processes including data collection, storage, and retrieval **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field - Proficiency in ArcGIS software and other GIS tools - Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets - Experience in land surveying techniques is a plus - Knowledge of project management principles - Familiarity with APIs for data integration - Proficiency in Python for scripting tasks - Excellent data management skills with attention to detail - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a collaborative environment that values innovation and continuous learning. Pay: $86,385.00 - $94,965.00 per year
