**Field Service Technician** - Water & Wastewater Industry

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team, responsible for solving General Contractor's site-based sluice gate/valve startup needs. If you thrive in customer interactions, challenging environments, and hands-on work, we invite you to apply. This role involves assisting clients with equipment installation, repair, and maintenance, requiring a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and compliance with Environmental, Safety & Health procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage on-site sluice gate installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, ensuring adherence to O&M manual guidelines.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports for project managers' records.
- Collaborate with contractors to understand equipment issues, troubleshoot and diagnose root-cause problems, and arrange necessary parts from our facility to resolve issues.
- Ensure timely completion and submittal of activity reports and associated documentation.
- Identify modifications to existing product documentation and communicate findings to the project team.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum five (5) years of job experience as a field service technician.
- Experience in the water treatment industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing flow control mechanical equipment.
- Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to travel up to 50% with a valid Driver’s License.

**Physical Demands**:

- Comfortable working in a variety of conditions, including confined spaces, damp/dusty locations, freezing, and hot conditions.
- Must be able to perform essential duties, including lifting 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and using hands to evaluate equipment.
- Must pass a drug screen and physical exam.
