Dental Assistant

We are urgently looking for a competent **dental assistant** who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Assisting in surgical procedures, Invisalign, implant and root canal treatments as required.
- Operatory breakdown and setup; Sterilization duties; patient charting
- Clinical inventory management. Schedule patients for treatment and recalls.
- Diligent Patient follow-ups to ensure highest level of service.
- Insurance benefits verification, claims submission and follow-up including doing narratives/attachments as needed.

**Skills**
- Excellent communication and people skills. Pleasant personality with outstanding phone and chair side etiquette.
- Eaglesoft (or other dental software) experience preferred.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred

**Competitive pay and benefits are available**

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- X-Ray Certification (preferred)

- Pleasanton, CA 94588: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
