We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures to maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 4:15 PM & Friday 7:00AM - 12:00 Noon

**Summary**:Responsible for quality of incoming components, assembly audits, proper documentation, First Piece, In-process, and Final Inspection where applicable. Maintains and enforces adherence to meet the requirements of the Quality Management System as well as the Marine Equipment Directive (MED), Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the Pressure Equipment Safety Requirement (PESR).

**Duties and Responsibilities include the following**: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Perform inspection of purchased parts and assemblies to drawings, illustrations, and specifications.

2. Conduct First Piece Inspection of in-process and final products to include required testing.

3. Process all necessary reports and certifications for both rejected and accepted materials.

4. Generate NCR reports and maintains log as they relate to subcontractors and internal processes.

5. Use electronic devices for data entry (tablets/PCs).

6. Read, understand, interpret, and follow written procedures.

**Education/Experience**:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Ability**:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization.

**Reasoning Ability**:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, drawing, or schedule form.

**Computer Skills**:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and intranet/internet software.

**Specialized Training**:Hazmat

**Equipment**:Load Testing Pressure Testing Flattening Station Electrical Testing All Gaging

**Certificates and Licenses**:Valid Driver's License

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
