**Purchasing Supervisor Kohler Energy**

**Location**: Onsite at N7650 Lakeshore Drive Sheboygan WI 53083

**BASIC FUNCTION**
The Purchasing Supervisor will lead the material scheduling team in optimizing our direct spend supply chain strategy to provide best in class service to our generator production facilities in North America.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Purchasing Supervisor will manage the supply chain elements of the procurement team which include the following:

- Lead the Material Scheduling team.
- Utilize A3 goal setting process to drive continuous improvement in key performance areas.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support integrity of master data that drives decision making.
- Work with key stakeholders to establish robust supply and inventory management strategies.
- Ensure exception message management tools and tracking are in place to support adjustments in business forecast models.
- Align with Master Scheduling on long term capacity plan to ensure production operation goals are achievable.
- Establish standard and automated processes/procedures that reduce risk to our supply chain and maximize efficiency of the team.
- Support accounting in resolving invoice concerns to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner. Develop a culture that fosters collaboration, open communication, accountability, recognition, and work life balance.

**Skills/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Supply Chain, Business or Engineering Program or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Manufacturing background a plus.
- 5-10 years of previous Purchasing or Materials Scheduling experience preferred
- Familiarity with how MRP systems are used for production planning and inventory control. Strong SAP ERP system experience preferred.
