About This Role

The Marketing Manager - Promotions is responsible for managing the process of creating a promotional offer strategy based on analytics to achieve optimum results. He/she will collaborate with multiple departments, including the merchants, category marketing team, Ace Rewards legal and print and digital delivery providers. The Marketing Promotions Manager is responsible for the integrity of SKU, offer, and wholesale and retail pricing as managed in POD and the Event Planner bulletin system. The Marketing Promotions Manager is responsible for offer selection to comp and grow prior year results and all forecasting and metric communication regarding the success and/or shortfalls of promotional events. The promotional marketing manager must build and uphold Ace brand integrity by developing offers that align with our pillars of differentiation; Quality, Service & Convenience and support our Famous for 4 strategic direction all while meeting aggressive sales, profit, traffic/transactions and timeline goals.

What You’ll Do- Leverage analytics and lead the collaboration of multiple teams to create sales, transaction and profit driving, relevant circular and Ace Rewards Targeted Offer promotions from start to finish while meeting the demands of an aggressive production schedule- Prepare and drive annual promotional marketing planning by aligning Merchandising DMM’s, Online Merchants, Ace Rewards team and Category Marketing team to determine high level offer strategies, offer allocations, marketing messages and overall cross channel (print + digital + rewards) promotional forecast targets- Manage promotion development from idea creation, to vendor/merchant POD approval and promo execution communication, merchant communication/collaboration and promotional offer change process- Build and select offers that will generate bulletin sales of +$225M and event level retail sales averaging over $20M per event while achieving 25% or higher average margin- Collaborate with the circular production team responsible for retailer sign ups, print run generation, imprint management and logistics related to the major market program- Leverage negotiated promotions into other departments including Ace International, Emery Jensen, Westlake, and Multi-store chains- Contribute content for the Win the Month Planner and execution guide to drive retail and wholesale sales Includes; Promotional Strategy Execution, retailer communication strategy, promotional suggested orders, field communications and best way to buy for Ace retailers- Collaborate with circular team in the development and proofing of all promotional circulars and Ace Rewards direct mail assets containing promotional offers

**Required Skills**:
- 5 years marketing or merchandising experience- BA Degree in Marketing or a Business-Related Field- Process driven and results oriented.- Strong marketer who understands how to assess business challenges and opportunities between retailer and vendor partners- Ability to develop strategically sound, well thought through programs that demonstrate the benefits to all parties- Marketing and/or Analytics experience- Strategic thinker that questions the status quo- Passion and energy to build relationships and programs- Detail oriented with a sense of urgency- Independent self-starter- Creative and persuasive- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with ability to interact and influence all organizational levels- Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment- Project budget responsibility

Compensation Details:
$98400 - $123000 per year
