**Position Summary**:
The Cabinet Estimator supports cabinet projects in our cabinet installation department. Your primary responsibility is to review detailed measurements for the customers' new kitchen and provide cabinet installation pricing. Estimators will interact with Lowe's designers and provide support with kitchen design. In addition to the duties described above they will also perform duties as they are delegated by the Support Services Manager of Cabinets.
? Create quotes for designers and performs design reviews of kitchen cabinet drawings (3-D, Birds-Eye, Elevation CAD)
? Reconcile quotes and purchase orders
? Utilize our internal project management systems to manage tasks, schedules, updates, and photos
Criteria for Consideration
? Experience in kitchen design and recommended ADA clearances (AutoCAD, 2020)
? Understanding how to read and interpret tape measurements, drawings and geometrical designs
? Understanding of cabinet materials/manufacturers codes and where they are used (crown, filler, scribe, etc)
? Dependable and possess a professional appearance and attitude.
? Ability to pass national criminal background check and legally able to work in the US without sponsorship
? Requires minimum of eight hours
? Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
? Strong knowledge of standard computer systems and ability to adapt to new software
NO PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Would need to be in office for first few months of training and coming in to office approx. 1 time monthly for training and meetings
