Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by using abrasives
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
- Assist with materials handling and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a blaster or in a similar role preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand tools
- Familiarity with forklift operation for materials handling
- Experience with airless paint spraying techniques
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to fabricate or modify equipment as needed

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
