**VCA Chatoak Animal Hospital** is seeking a full time **Experienced Registered Vet Technician / Veterinary Assistant - LEAD** to join the team at our AAHA accredited, full-service hospital in Granada Hills, CA.

**Compensation: $ 26.00 - $ 28.00 / hr - Depending on experience**

**Weekend differential - $1.00 additional Friday-Sunday**

**Schedule: 5 days a week 9am-6pm. Fridays-Tuesdays**

- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, IV fluid therapy
- Catheter placement
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
- All aspects of patient care
- Animal handling and restraint
- IM, IV,SQ injections
- Dental cleanings/dental radiography
- Digital radiography
- Nursing care/hospitalization treatments
- Client communication
