This position is to be onsite at our Katy location.

Our team members are outgoing, charismatic, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. They thrive in acquiring new customers, enriching relationships with current accounts, increasing customer loyalty, and retaining and winning back accounts.

**Position Summary**:
This role will also answer incoming calls and provide clients with stock availability, product information, substitutions, specials, and promotions.

The Telemarketing Specialist will prepare quotes and close sales for our will-call and delivery channels, drive additional in-store sales, and enrich the customer information in every interaction.

This person will also speak with potential new customers, qualify them, and help them with the onboarding process to place their first orders with Newton Nurseries. Finally, this team member will replace the Inside Sales representative and need and collaborate in the nursery as requested by the Branch Manager.

This position is to be onsite at our Katy location.

**Position Requirements**:

- 2 years of inside sales experience, Telemarketing, or call center experience
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
- Superior communication skills in English and Spanish, both spoken and written
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and cultivating relationships
- Proven ability to work with technological tools and digital channels
- Quick learner, curious, collaborative, and proactive with an eagerness to grow
- A go-getter, self-motivated, persistent individual with a high work ethic
- Adapts easily to change in a fast-growing organization
- Likes nature, plants, trees, gardening, and design

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 42 per week
