Due to increasing business activity and to further build upon our continued success, Belle Aire Creations needs a capable Quality Technician. Our Quality Technicians are specialists whose primary goal is to validate incoming raw materials through the production process, and into the finished goods phases of production. To do so, Technicians must follow current procedures utilizing an array of raw test methods to ascertain compliance. You will support the fragrance manufacturing process alongside Production Staff, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Planning staff. Quality Technicians report to the Quality Control Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform standardized testing for incoming materials, and finished product to confirm accuracy.
- Assist in on-site auditing projects.
- Assist with scheduling of work as directed by Quality Manager.
- Organize retains for production and sample batch runs.
- Assist with implementation of safe work practices.
- Keep work area organized and sterilized.
- Adhere to Belle Aire Creations PTO policy.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred.
- 1-2 years relevant experience in production lab, or analytical lab environment.
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
- Production/Planning skills: Knowledge of Good manufacturing processes (GMP’s).
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Deadline oriented.
- Excellent ability to work with others.
- Cognitive (Reasoning):

- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, visual, or schedule form.
- Communication:

- Vocalize and explain detailed data and problem-solve, both in-person and by telephone Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Compose routine correspondence on own initiative
- Make comprehensive notes in English
- May involve a large volume of such composition.
- Must have ability to work well under pressure
- Physical Capabilities
- Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion):

- Must be able to lift 30-lbs onto waist high shelves
- Must be able to lift and carry a min of 25lbs.
- Movement: Employee will frequently use fingers, walk and distinguish basic colors. Employee will continuously use both hands, sit for extended periods of time, and use rapid or well-developed coordination simultaneously.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment
- Vision: Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly

**Compensation**:

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
