Perform functions to define, validate, and monitor metallurgical aspects of all processes and products. Assess manufacturing feasibility for products and perform failure analyses as required. Lead the development of broad metallurgical understanding and capabilities within operations and the laboratory.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a B.S. or equivalent in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related discipline.
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in metals manufacturing (preferred in products used in oil and gas industry).
- Must have experience performing metals failure analysis and writing associated reports
- Basic ability to use business computer systems and perform statistical analysis using Minitab or other software is highly preferred.
- Problem solving Techniques (5 Why, 8D, fishbone, etc.)
- Quality improvement processes (Process flows, FMEA, Control Plans)
- Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and processes

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
