We are a leading custom apparel and t-shirt company specializing in screen printing, embroidery, direct-to-garment (DTG), sublimation, and custom online stores - located in Lodi, NJ.
- **This is an ON-SITE position. Remote work is not available.**_

This position is responsible for assisting in managing all aspects of the print production department. This includes five automated presses, two manual presses, screen room duties, and quality control related to each of these areas. The job supports the production manager in handling the production schedule & ensuring jobs are shipping on time, while working directly with other departmental managers and leads to determine priority of operations each day.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in managing, updating, and prioritizing daily and weekly print schedules
- Ensure garments, screens, and other materials are prepped and ready in advance for each press under the guidance of the production manager
- Communicate with the scheduling department to solve issues to maximize daily/weekly schedule output
- Help enforce & guide the team to have top-notch quality control, ensuring only top-quality printing is going out the door
- Assist in optimizing, maintaining, and improving production efficiency
- Help in managing and ordering of needed print materials, for print shop and screen rooms
- Work with management to hire, train and onboard new employees as needed
- Support management in ensuring HR standards are being met (Assist in disciplinary action for your team members)
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met
- Help in collecting and entering key statistics and monitor performance
- Assist in coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and improving the skill set and productivity of staff members
- Organize and schedule relevant training sessions under the direction of the production manager
- Ensure location is clean, well maintained on a consistent basis
- Work with management and staff to continually maintain and build the best, and happiest work environment for all employees in production.

Must be able to lift heavy boxes-40 to 50lbs and have a good eye for attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
