Seacrest Post Acute Care Center is currently looking for an ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR for their skilled nursing care facility. Seacrest is located in San Pedro and has proudly served the community since 1972. We are a 80 bed facility that offers services in post acute care, social services needs, physical rehabilitation, speech therapy and, of course, quality nursing care.
**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES**:
Maintain a desired census and waiting list, communicate with the community, conduct marketing programs, travel locally, speak before groups, solve family problems, complete and maintain admission records and documents, and work with referral agencies, organizations, and institutions. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
**EXPERIENCE**:
Health care, human services, public relations, social services, marketing and marketing research.
**JOB KNOWLEDGE**:
Community resources and needs, ability to handle inquiries and relate to prospective residents (provide facility tours), awareness of facility services and cost structure, ability to handle confidential information and admission records.
