Pay: Based on experience, starting at $32.50 + per hour.
**Job Description** Sign-on Bonus for experience Nurses**
**For Full time nights**
**1-2 years experience
- $3,000**
**2 plus years of experience up to $7500**
**For part-time nights**:
**1-2 years of experience: $1,500 sign-on bonus**
**2+ years of experience: $3,750 sign-on bonus**
**Central DuPage Hospital has three stepdown, intermediate units**
**All time and part time positions are available**
CDH Cardiac Intermediate (3A)
- 26 bed cardiac step-down unit that is part of Northwestern Medicine’s prestigious Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI)
- As part of BCVI, we are able provide the same advanced cardiac care normally only available at a major academic medical center, but in a suburban setting.
- Our unit cares for patients with a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses, including post cardiac surgeries and procedures.
- We are proud to be in the country’s top decile of patient satisfaction for over 8 years
- Cross training opportunities to the Telemetry Department
CDH Neuro Intermediate (3B)
- 24 bed neurosciences unit providing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disorders
- Neurological conditions include acute and stable traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizure, and acute inflammation or infections of the CNS. Neurosurgical patients include aneurysm repair, CS leaks & lumbar drains, post-op neurosurgical and spinal patients.

CDH Med/Surg Intermediate (3C)- 26 bed fast paced, high acuity Intermediate Medical Surgical Unit
- Highly engaged staff active in shared governance and committed to multidisciplinary rounds at the bedside

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree that will complete BSN within 2 years of hire.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- Basic Life Support
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
