As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, educating customers on our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Some shifts will consist of opening and/or closing the store. Team Lead will also play a part in training all new hires on POS, customer service, product descriptions and accessory training. This position involves direct interaction with customers, accurate product knowledge, and adherence to all relevant regulations. You must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

**Responsibilities**:
**Training New Hires**:

- POS and customer service training
- Explaining of products and accessories
- Supervise new hire ringing and be available for questions and guidance.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Provide accurate information about cannabis products, strains, and usage.
- Guide customers through the purchasing process, ensuring their needs are met.

**Inventory/Fulfillment**:

- Restock cannabis products from vault to sales floor as necessary.
- Assist in audits as needed
- Receiving products into metrc and dutchie
- Filling/putting away pre-orders

**Product Knowledge**:

- Stay informed about the latest cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
- Educate customers on the various attributes and effects of different products.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions based on their preferences and needs.

**Sales and Upselling**:

- Effectively communicate promotions, discounts, and upselling opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through product recommendations and suggestive selling.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash and electronic payments.

**Compliance**:

- Adhere to all local and state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions.
- Keep up-to-date on changes in regulations and company policies.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve overall dispensary goals.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

**Experience**:

- Previous cannabis retail experience is required.
- Familiarity with Dutchie POS and Backend.
- Familiarity with Metrc
- Familiarity with cannabis products and a passion for the industry.

- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
