Part-time Customer Service/reservations Assistant

Act as a part-time administrative/customer service assistant to facilitate the entry of reservations and dispatching of service vehicles for conveyance of passengers, while providing exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers.

**Job Functions**
- Answering phone calls and transmitting messages to the appropriate parties
- Relaying any pertinent information regarding transfer to and/or from drivers/affiliates/customers
- Assisting with reservation entry/cross-checking using software system
- Maintaining quality control by following up with clients post transfer and ensure protection of our company brand
- Contacting new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Collaborating with colleagues as needed to meet client needs
- Maintaining contact lists and following up with customers to continue relationships
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

**Requirements**:

- Must be fully available **7am - 5pm Friday-Sunday** This position is 30 hours per week average, but shifts will fall into the above availability.
- This is an in-person position working from our Rosedale area office.

- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel to and from job site

- Flexible and adaptable to rapid changes
- Ability to prioritize when faced with multiple tasks and maintain focus in demanding situations
- Experience in Safety First environments.
- Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with both customers and drivers
- Basic computer skills (experience in Excel and Word preferred)
- Ability to use independent judgment to build and promote free flow of information and communication throughout the organization that will encourage change while maintaining operational success
- Ability to adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple levels and use them to decide appropriate problem-solving approach
- Proven analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner that sets the example for others.
- Ability to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to take initiative and effectively problem solve
- **Knowledge of DOT/Dispatch is a plus**:

- **Prior routing experience in the Limo or Trucking Industry preferred but not required**:

- **At least one year experience in administrative work preferred**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
