Job Requirements

Role:
The Executive Housekeeper is a pivotal role within Hampton Inn Waldorf hotel, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in all areas of the hotel. This position requires a dynamic leader who can efficiently manage housekeeping operations, budget, and staff while ensuring compliance with Hilton's standards and policies. The role also involves serving as a Manager on Duty (MOD), overseeing broader hotel functions and guest relations during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Oversee the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment.
- Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost saving measures.
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction in relation to cleanliness and room readiness.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular training sessions with housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
- Work closely with the front office, maintenance, and other departments for seamless hotel operations.
- Implement and oversee cost saving initiatives in housekeeping payroll and operations.
- Prepare regular reports on housekeeping operations, including staff performance, budget adherence, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the front office for efficient room allocation and cleaning schedules.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Foster a positive work environment and motivate staff to achieve high performance.
- Review and act on guest feedback related to cleanliness and room conditions.
- Manage special cleaning and maintenance projects as needed.
- Develop a pipeline of departmental leadership.
- Oversee pest control measures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Embrace and integrate new technologies for improved housekeeping efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manager on Duty (MOD) Responsibilities: Serve as MOD as required, overseeing overall hotel operations during shifts, handling guest relations, and ensuring all departments function effectively.

**Work Experience**
- Two years related management experience, and hotel brand knowledge (Hampton Inn by Hilton)
- Experience with rooms and housekeeping operations.
- Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
- Hands-on leadership.
