Microbiology Sample Coordinator

Michelson Laboratories, Inc is a Food and Environmental Testing laboratory in City of Commerce that is rapidly growing. We have a wide range of internal laboratories, including Microbiology, Chemistry, Instrumentation, Entomology, Environmental, and Proximate. Michelson Laboratories, Inc is a top-tier testing laboratory that has assembled a renowned team of scientific experts and is well known within the scientific community and food industry. Michelson Laboratories, Inc is making a major commitment to expanding its professional team. We are looking for a full-time Microbiology Sample Coordinator.

**Duties for Microbiology Sample Coordinator**:

- Receive, review, and login food, water, etc. samples with associated chain of custody / paperwork
- Prepare and maintain documentation for various sample submissions
- Review data for accuracy and prevention control
- Follow Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment under time constrains.
- Identify and effectively communicate with team regarding any issues
- Assist with other lab related tasks, as needed
- Assisting and reporting to the Operations Manager
- Support company safety and environmental policies
- **Shift start time is 3:00PM - 11:30PM. No previous experience is required.**_

**Requirements for Microbiology Sample Coordinator**:
High School/G.E.D, A.A. or B.S in sciences related field preferred.

Starting $18/hr based on experience.
