Customer Service Specialist for Manufacturer

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of general office experience at a small to mid-sized manufacturing or wholesale (not service/retail) company a plus (not required)
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Enjoy calculating cost and selling prices based on volume and customer credentials
- Ability to work well independently
- Extremely detail oriented
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage fast-paced work environment
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Well-developed math skills including logic, accuracy, critical thinking, organization, and documentation
- Accept interruptions and manage them effectively
- Communication skills - clear, thorough, factual, purposeful, mature, and grammatically correct
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Keyboard speed of 50 wpm
- Ambition to increase technical support expertise

**Duties & Tasks**:

- Create customer quotations and sales orders in order entry software
- Work with sales engineer and marketing team
- Answer the telephone, obtain customer and inquiry details
- Research and create new customer profiles
- Proofread invoices, quotations, sales orders, etc.
- Coordinate and track customer orders and shipping status
- Contribute suggestions for website page improvements and additions
- Assist with occasional late afternoon incoming/outgoing shipments via UPS or LTL truck
- Backup for absent or overloaded personnel
- Other duties or projects as assigned

**Wage**: $21.00 to $24.00 /hour
