We are a busy construction firm who are ready to bring on a new roll of Assistant Superintendent to our team as we grow. We work throughout Southern California with occasional out of state work available for those interested.

Our work is in commercial construction, including office spaces, education, retail and banking so hours are often nights and weekends, with overtime as necessary.

We are searching for a competent and hard working field Assistant Superintendent who is able to excel at a number of different job types in order to meet the needs of our customers. Our projects range from 30 minute service calls to 6 month major commercial TIs.

As the Assistant Superintendent you will work under the supervision of our Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate and oversee the activities and performance of the job site personnel, equipment and subcontractors. You will help provide the leadership needed to establish and maintain effective working relationships, safety practices and quality standards among subcontractors, vendors and company personnel on site. You will help with implementation of the project schedule, completion as well as field reports, photos and following current construction documents.

Work times range from standard construction days (6am-2pm) to nights and weekends as well as occasional out of town locations (if able). The ability to be willing, flexible, and take pride in the variety of challenges we are assigned, is critical.

When not assigned to a specific project, our team (Laborers, Superintendents and Project Managers) are all expected to participate in whatever projects are in need of labor, in the field, the warehouse or office.

**Qualifications**

Skills/Capabilities
- Construction experience either within a trade or as a superintendent
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications and contract document
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Southern California
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn and use web-based programs
- Write/Types clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar
- Able to read, interpret and properly record written information
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check specific to financial security
- Competent ability to generate daily logs for site activity

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
