Coiler

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coiler to join our team. As a Coiler, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining coiling machines to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate coiling machines to wind wire or other materials onto spools or coils
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper tension, speed, and alignment
- Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on coiling machines
- Inspect finished coils for quality and accuracy
- Package and label coils according to specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met

**Experience**:

- Previous experience operating coiling machines or similar equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
- Familiarity with logic controllers and programming
- Experience working with stamping presses is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to coil dimensions
- Proficiency in using CAD software for design purposes is desirable
- Ability to weld or assemble coils is an asset
- Familiarity with Fanuc robotic systems is advantageous

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
