Plan and perform various less complex electrical installations and maintenance functions throughout facility while practicing and complying with environmental, health and safety directions and procedures.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work from complex blueprints, drawings, schematics, service manuals and written and verbal instructions.
- Respond to electrical problems of various complexities and voltages, make repairs and request assistance on more complicated problems.
- Use a variety of electrical and electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, strobe lights, high voltage testers and other associated equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties as directed.
- Assist contractors in the construction of new or remodeling installations.
- Identify and order spare parts as required.
- May be required to take meter readings for kilowatt hours, check fire alarm and facility related batteries.
- Improve process and solve problems in cooperation with fellow employees and technical support group.
- Instruct one or two fellow employees in the proper performance of duties.
- Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean.
- Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

**Qualifications/Experience Needed**:

- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- E1 or E2 Electrical License or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Completion of trades training in electricity
- Experience working with PLC logic
- Experience working with VFD logic
- Experience working with Fire Alarm systems
