Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our medical device startup organization ? Safeguard Biosystems Corporation. The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing all financial aspects of the US organization. This position requires solid analytical skills, and an understanding of the medical device industry environment, dealing with Durable Medical Equipment distributors, and experience of all "Gross To Net" (GTN) processes and aspects in the medical device industry, including all the relationships with medical insurance entities and Payors.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Budget management**:
? Manage the annual budgeting process in alignment

with company goals and objectives.

? Monitor financial performance against budget and

provide insights into variances.

**Financial Reporting**:
? Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and

senior management.

? Ensure compliance with U.S Generally Accepted

Accounting Principles (U.S GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.

? Coordinate with external accountants for quarterly reviews and year end audit.

**Treasury and Cash Management**:
? Manage cash flow by forecasting and analyzing cash needs, optimizing working capital, and overseeing cash management activities.

? Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure/maintain appropriate financing and banking services.

**Cost Management and Efficiency**:
? Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to enhance efficiency and

profitability.

? Analyze cost drivers and provide recommendations to streamline operations while maintaining high quality standards.

? Collaborate with cross-functional (local and overseas teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:
? Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations implementing (when the time is right) Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, SEC compliance and all other industry-specific regulations compliance.

? Maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

**Decision Support Assessment**:
? Support senior management in managing all the operational aspects of the business.

? Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies for potential projects and initiatives
