**The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD** (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a **Team Lead** to join our Rapid Response team. As a Team Lead (TL) with Rapid Response, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective functioning of crisis response services by conducting audits, developing comprehensive onboarding training for new hires, monitoring program performance, and providing support in day-to-day operations. This individual utilizes expertise in crisis intervention, clinical assessment, and trauma-informed care to guide team interventions, conduct performance evaluations, and implement improvement action plans. The Team Lead also manages agency vehicles, provides crisis response support, participates in community outreach, and coordinates regular refresher training sessions for staff. With a focus on enhancing skills, maintaining compliance, and fostering stakeholder relationships, the Team Lead plays a vital role in promoting the quality and efficiency of crisis response services.

**Your role in Action**:

- Conduct audits of clinical documentation, incident reports, and program activities to uphold standards and ensure compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive onboarding training for new hires, including facilitating orientation sessions and coordinating initial training activities.
- Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
- Assist in the development of training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge of crisis response staff.
- Provide support in day-to-day operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders. This includes on call on a rotational basis over weekends, overnight, and holidays.
- Utilize expertise in crisis intervention, clinical assessment, and trauma-informed care to guide interventions.
- Conduct performance evaluations of crisis response staff and create improvement action plans.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new staff, including conducting interviews.
- Manage agency vehicles, including scheduling maintenance and maintaining records.
- Provide crisis response support, including responding to calls for service and conducting assessments.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to raise awareness.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and conduct regular refresher training sessions for existing staff.
- Track and analyze field performance metrics and tailor training initiatives to address skill gaps.

**What qualifications you will need**:
**_ Education:_**
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that are equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention.

**_ Experience:_**

Required Experience:

- At minimum three (3) years direct experience providing crisis intervention services to individuals in distress, including assessing safety and risk, activating emergency response, risk mitigation, and continuity of care activities.
- Prior experience in training or mentoring mental health providers or similar discipline.

Preferred experience in the following:

- Training program development, including curriculum design, instructional materials creation, and evaluation methods.
- A leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a crisis response setting.
- Conducting audits, quality assurance processes, and implementing improvement strategies

**_Knowledge Skills and Abilities_**:

- Comprehensive understanding of crisis response principles, best practices, and protocols, including knowledge of documentation requirements, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in coordinating and collaborating with other agencies and emergency services for a coordinated crisis response, including an understanding of cultural awareness, diversity, and special populations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for emergency response and disaster situations, as well as familiarity with crisis assessment tools and protocols for evaluating urgency and severity.
- Expertise in developing crisis intervention plans tailored to individual needs, with continuous training and professional development in emergency preparedness, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in crisis intervention services, along with knowledge of crisis management strategies, resilience-building activities, and community resources for post-event recovery in emergency disasters.
