The position involves the installation of fiber optic cable, working on ladders and on poles, and other duties as assigned. Service Drop Technician’s core responsibility will be assisting the lead in aerial and underground fiber optic drop placement. This will include:

- Placement of aerial and underground fiber optic cable to customer premise. (trenching required for underground)
- Installation of hardware such as placing clam shells and/or laying conduit.
- Will be required to work in all weather conditions, heights and in confined spaces
- Material management and assisting in loading and unloading ladders from work truck.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous Construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the Use of basic hand tools, ie. drill, saw and shovel.
- Ability to stand for long periods outdoors.
- Ability to climb a ladder preferred.
- Strong distribution operation, construction, and maintenance knowledge
- Work efficiently and safely
- Organizational Skills a plus
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Safe responsible operation of company vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Work in harsh environments heat, cold, and wind.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Victorville, CA: Relocate before starting work (required)
