GLOBAL HOME HOSPICE SERVICE INC is looking for a Per Diem Home Health Aide for the HIGH DESERT REGION OF CALIFORNIA, a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. The team is looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for care and values honesty and commitment

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily personal hygiene including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
- Provide client care according to approved Plan of Care
- Take and record vital signs of client including height and weight, if necessary
- Assist client with active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care, as well as observing the client’s physical, mental, and emotional conditions
- Provide client with help walking and transferring to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
- Develop and promote a safe environment to provide quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
- Provide transportation as required
- Assist in providing a safe environment for client
- Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements
- Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions.
- Ensure client’s rights are adhered to
- Treat client, family, and staff with courtesy and respect

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a home health aide program
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- California Driver's License
- Automobile Insurance
- Home Care Aide Registry with State of California
- Bilingual
- Preferred but not required

**Salary**:
$30- $35 per visit

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide basic health-related services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Support patients with mobility assistance and light exercises
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient
- Keep accurate records of patient care, including changes in condition

**Experience**:

- Hospice care
- Nursing home procedures
- Cooking for special dietary needs
- Handling medical records accurately and confidentially
- Assisted living facilities operations
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in dementia care
- Proficiency in patient care techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous work alongside nurses

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
