**The Position**:
50+1 Strategies is looking for an energetic and highly organized Operations Associate to join our team thru the end of the 2024 election cycle. This is an entry/mid-level position, working out of our San Francisco headquarters. The position is expected to commence no later than June 10th, and is initially set through December 31st, 2024, with the potential of transitioning to a permanent role based on future organizational needs.

Your primary responsibility is to work with our Chief Operating Officer to oversee and manage the company’s finances and provide administrative support for the company’s internal operations. The Operations Associate will also work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations of client programs and internal projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, and enjoys the dynamic environment of a small but growing company with multiple responsibilities and room to grow.

**Principal Duties**:

- Supporting 50+1 Strategies day-to-day operations by maintaining accurate books, managing accounts payables and receivables, tracking billable expenses, and recording financial data, ensuring timely and accurate outputs.
- Compiling and maintaining business data and metrics necessary to effectively monitor business performance across all of our service offerings, including project budgets, cashflow, profit and losses, and staffing analysis.
- Performing monthly invoicing by gathering and compiling data, coordinating with other departments on cost allocations, and working with outside accountants to record information in the accounting system.
- Manage the company’s vendor relationships, technology platforms, subscriptions, and physical offices
- Working with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and maintain mission-critical systems to support management decisions. Analyzing existing financial and accounting processes and making recommendations for improvements.

**Preferred Skills / Qualifications**:

- Enthusiasm for 50+1 Strategies’ work and purpose.
- Genuine interest in working with numbers, data, systems and processes.
- Some experience or familiarity with Quickbooks or related accounting software.
- A diligent self-starter, with high attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to anticipate organizational needs.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and efficiently perform various duties for different business functions in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to process and seeing things through to the end.

**Location**:San Francisco, CA

This position is full-time and will be based out of our San Francisco headquarters, but will have the flexibility to work remotely from home 2-3 days a week.

**Compensation**:
Monthly compensation commensurate with experience, with entry-level starting at $70,000/year (annualized). 50+1 Strategies provides comprehensive healthcare and dental benefits, 401K plan, generous vacation and flexible working arrangements, and professional development stipends.
