**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
**What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- You will be knowledge of medical terminology
- You will interpret cardiac rhythms
- You will maintain telemetry supplies
- You will maintain and make decisions to report patient condition to supervising parties
- You will perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds

**What qualifications you will need**:

- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 6 months of Monitor Tech experience in an acute care setting preferred
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is required
- CMT/Cardiac experience preferred
- Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course
- Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
- Must pass a Basic Rhythm test, if interviewed
