- 4. Assesses information project requirements and determines tasks, goals, resources and milestones to achieve desired outcome.
- 5. Improves processes used to monitor contractors and vendors for supplies, services, and/or equipment to ensure government funds are expended appropriately.
- HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
- 1. Experience in the design, installation and maintenance of broadcast and production video systems such as non-linear edit systems, production systems, routers & mixers, ENG/EFP equipment, cameras, test equipment and video formats such as analog, digital and IPTV with little to no supervision.
- 2. Wide-range of experience with audiovisual (AV) functions and systems such as video teleconferencing, video distribution, CATV, IPTV, streaming video and digital signage.
- 3. Ability to respond to difficult questions in a clear, concise and effective manner. Understanding of situational awareness and a capability to de-escalate ineffective communication.

- Education
- Undergraduate Education: Major study - any field of study in an accredited college or university.
- Graduate Education: Major study - fields related to the position to be filled.

- Experience
- Specialized Experience (for positions above GG-5): Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
- Working as a skilled mechanic or maintenance worker, sales or service engineer, or planner or estimator in a technical group dealing with manufacture, utilization, repair, or operation of equipment.
- Analyzing equipment and forecasting spare parts requirements.
- Reading and interpreting engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop orders, and work orders.
- Analyzing contract specifications and examining pertinent equipment to determine if
- specifications are met.
- Analyzing or supervising maintenance, repair, or production operations to determine methods of improvement.
