**Job Description** AECOM **is seeking a **Field Project Specialist III **to be based in **Austin, Texas**.

Job Duties include:

- Manages documents throughout all phases of a project.
- Maintains project directory.
- Maintains and files reproduced document originals, as well as revisions for easy retrieval.
- Develops project-specific filing structure and document control procedures, including implementing into required electronic document management systems (EDMS).
- Records and stores photographs.
- Under general supervision, performs general duties that are often routine and repetitive.
- Under general supervision, interacts with professional/technical staff to accomplish assigned objectives.
- Requires limited exercise of judgment.
- Receives guidance on new aspects of assignments.
- Maintain highway & bridge construction records and related paperwork pertaining to billing. Coordinate closely with the project manager, client and contractor.
- Maintain filing procedures both electronically and paper as required for each project.
- Prepare correspondence, reports & supporting documents
- File and order supplies and equipment as needed
- Perform field site visits to project offices
- Work location will be from home and office locations

Review/verify the following records on a weekly basics:

- Material on Hand reports
- Ensure DWR’s are completed daily
- Verify proper pay items are used
- Prepare contractor’s monthly pay estimates and deliver to client on time
- Ensure contractors are meeting DBE compliance in DMS
- Verify payroll interviews are submitted as required
- Review payrolls in LCPTracker
- Work with project manager, resident engineer, & inspector on monthly progress report
- Verify barricade reports are submitted timely
- Verify SiteManager checklist event dates are updated
- Verify deficiencies are minimized weekly and safety meetings are performed

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- BA/BS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Driving is required for this position

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 15+ years experience on TxDOT projects
- Extensive knowledge of Sitemanager or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise or other secured document system
