Job Overview:
The Hollywood & Vine Recovery Center (HVRC) is a nonprofit organization that offers Outpatient Recovery Programs and Intensive Outpatient Programs which balance the need for addiction care and the client’s need for meaningful and productive engagement with the world. At HVRC, we aim to maintain a safe space for _all_ humans to heal and recover from their alcoholism/addiction, emotional health suffering, and mental health suffering. Our services focus on adults of all genders, and we specialize in marginalized recovery programs for the Black, Latino, LGBTQ+, and People of Color populations.

We are seeking a per diem/part-time SUD Program Manager to join our IOP start-up team.

The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for HVRC treatment and recovery programs and screening potential clients for eligibility and appropriateness for services, and also assigning admitted clients to appropriate staff. The SUD Program Manager provides case management services to SUD recovery clients while also overseeing compliance standards for all staff providing billable services. This position is needed to supervise assigned staff and monitor their performance including: attendance, documentation, productivity, and quality of services provided, while also providing personnel support. The monitoring of Intake, Discharge Planning, Initial Needs Assessments, and Initial Treatment Plans for adherence to HVRC company policies and procedures and continuous quality management plan is included in the SUD Program Manager’s scope of work.

**Duties**:

- Oversee SUD Counselors and other team members, monitoring Intake, Discharge Planning, Initial Needs Assessments, and Initial Treatment Plans
- Co-lead weekly team meetings for collaborative and comprehensive program assessment
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' SUD concerns
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide ongoing monitoring and assessment of clients' progress throughout the counseling process
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate positive change in clients' lives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Implement crisis management strategies when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients

**Experience**:

- 2 years of professional experience providing alcohol recovery counseling services.
- Unrestricted Substance Abuse Counselor Certification by a CA state approved school as an Alcohol and/or Other Drug Counselor.
- Proven experience in conducting counseling sessions, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and treatment planning.
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines relating to alcohol, drug, and mental health counseling.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Have a demonstrated ability to manage stress and crisis situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent professional and personal boundaries with staff and clients.
- Exercise awareness in cultural competency, client satisfaction, quality of services, client needs, and overall health and safety of staff and clients.
- Trained and experienced with ASAM multidimensional assessments.
- Have reliable professional and personal references.
- Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- SUD Counselor Certification (CADC)
- 2 years experience as a certified counselor
- A Health Screening with negative TB Test results
- A Criminal Background Clearance
- Stay up-to-date with the required continuing education hours and/or units to maintain active CADC certification

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
