**Fire Alarm Programmer**

Join our dynamic team as a Fire Alarm Programmer and play a crucial role in designing, programming, and maintaining cutting-edge fire alarm systems. As a programmer, you will not only work closely with engineers, technicians, and clients to develop customized solutions tailored to specific needs, but also have the unique opportunity to contribute to the forefront of fire safety technology.

Responsibilities include programming control panels, configuring networked systems, and integrating various components for seamless operation. You'll conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality and reliability, providing technical support and training to end-users as needed. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are vital when troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.

**General Description and Responsibilities**
- Install and program fire alarm systems (non-proprietary and stand-alone)
- Troubleshoot error codes
- Representative for local code inspections
- Ability to work independently and supervise others as required
- Complete documentation associated with fire alarm services provided
- Strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and commitment to top-quality workmanship
- Adhere to all local, company, and OSHA safety codes, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Work Experience Requirement, Skills, and Qualifications**
- Five years of fire alarm experience
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret electrical/Fire Alarm schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Diagnose system malfunctions of fire alarms and adjust, repair, or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting skills of commercial low voltage systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
