Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:

- Assist engineers in the design and development of custom medical cable assemblies.
- Prepare and update technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
- Conduct basic tests and measurements to support engineering projects.

2. Prototyping and Testing:

- Assist in the assembly and testing of prototypes and production units.
- Collect and record data from tests and experiments.
- Provide feedback on prototype performance and suggest improvements.

3. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of engineering activities, including test results, design changes, and project notes.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, manuals, and documentation for internal and external use.

4. Inventory and Materials Management:

- Assist in managing inventory of engineering materials, components, and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary materials and components for projects.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with engineers, production staff, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress and status.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the engineering team promptly.

Qualifications:

- A high school diploma or equivalent, associate degree, or technical certification in engineering technology, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on assigned tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
