The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist supports the Continuous Improvement Manager with managing the Quality Systems and processes for an ISO certified chemical manufacturing facility. The QA Specialist is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve our organization's final products to meet established quality standards.

**What you do**:Our ideal teammate has work-related experience with the following
- Supporting the collection of data to analyze for regulatory reporting.
- Auditing and assessing data to confirm compliance with Quality standards.
- Recommending company quality standards for chemical manufacturing to the Continuous Improvement Manager.
- Responsible for implementation and tracking of ISO 9001:2015 compliance procedures.
- Responsible for the tracking, reporting, and resolving of customer complaints around manufactured products.
- Responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures.

**What we need**:
As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Continuous Improvement Manager in the management and maintenance of the Quality Management System and supporting processes. This means that you will interact with internal and external customers to identify, document, update, or implement quality standards for Mallard Creek Polymers. The Quality Assurance Specialist will also own the company’s ISO 9001:2015 compliance processes and procedures, including yearly audits.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Control in an industrial manufacturing setting required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- JDE experience preferred

**Work Location & Hours**:Mallard Creek Polymers Plant - Morehead Road, Charlotte, NC 28262

8 Hour Shifts, M - F

**Travel**:Between MCP locations; local

**Job Type/ Department**:Full Time - Direct Hire / Operations

**Reports to**:Continuous Improvement Manager
