Qualifications:

The Dietary Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations. This includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and managing an effective food service staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Education:_** **Required**:_High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred_

**_ Experience:_** **Required**:Must have at least five (5) years’ experience in managing others, quantity cooking, and a basic knowledge of modified diets; training in food service sanitation; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils; **Preferred**:Some prior kitchen supervisory experience helpful.

**_ Licensure: Required: _**Food Handler Certification.
