**We are seeking an Online Banking/Accounting Specialist for our Schererville, IN branch.**
**Job Summary**:
- Responsible for daily mailing & analysis of overdraft protection transfer and Non-Sufficient Funds fee letters.
- Process daily import of ODP Manager file. Generate overdrawn balance and close account letters and complete analysis of accounts to verify qualification of Courtesy Pay.
- Perform daily review of the New Accounts Report to remove new account flags and determine courtesy pay status.
- Position will also be trained in all accounting/finance functions to provide backup when necessary.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Be able to get along well with all kinds of different personalities
- Work well with a hands-on manager
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be detail orientated
- Be self-motivated during down time
- Be able to multi-task
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:
- A high school diploma or the equivalent
- At least 1 year experience working in an office environment
- At least 1 year customer service experience; phone experience preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Good working knowledge of Word
**These are PLUSES**:
- Accounting background preferred but not required
- Online Banking experience in a banking environment is a PLUS
- General knowledge of online banking/mobile apps is a PLUS
- General knowledge of banking transactions is a PLUS
