Position Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for answering phones, checking in and out patients, and coordinating oral surgery patient cases. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients from their first interaction to the completion of their treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Interaction:

- Greet patients in person and on the phone, assess their needs, and address them based on established guidelines.
- Assist patients with inquiries and provide information about services and procedures.

2. Scheduling and Surgical Coordination:

- Assist in scheduling appointments for dentists and hygienists, including follow-up visits.
- Manage appointment cancellations and rescheduling, ensuring the schedule is efficiently filled.
- Coordinate oral surgery patient cases, ensuring all aspects of their treatment plan are organized and communicated effectively.
- Communicate pre and post-op instructions to oral surgery patients.
- Track medical assessments for surgical patients
- Ensure all lab cases and implant components are in stock and ready for patient surgeries

3. Administrative Duties:

- Process patients’ paperwork, obtain applicable information and maintain accurate patient files.
- Collect payments at the time of treatment and post charges and payments into the computer accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

4. Financial Transactions:

- Collect payments from patients at the time of treatment.

5. Additional Responsibilities:

- Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinic's operations and patient care initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental or medical office setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
