**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and play.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Plan and organize daily routines, including meals, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Observe and assess children's behavior, progress, and development, and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and coworkers.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and surfaces regularly.
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of children.
- Adhere to state licensing requirements and regulations for daycare centers.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education credentials preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting. A **minimum of 1 year of experience** if required.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.

Pay: $12.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No nights
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (required)
