Job Summary:
The KIA Technician at Hyman Brothers Auto Group performs various automotive maintenance and repair tasks on KIA vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry in Midlothian, Virginia. The technician will be a vital service department member, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the dealership's high standards of quality and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on KIA vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on KIA vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used, ensuring proper documentation and billing.
- Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to explain any recommended or required repairs and answer any questions.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working on vehicles.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and workshops to stay current with KIA technology.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an automotive training program.
- ASE certification and dealership experience preferred.
- Must be able to use diagnostic tools and electronic service manuals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
