**Responsibilities**:
Provides care as defined within the scope of the state’s nurse practice act
Client Relations - This includes, client care needs and family concerns - performs in-home assessments and re-assessments
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, working together with Care Specialist and Customer Care Manager facilitates the home care client process is smooth (inquiry to discharge)
Performs performance evaluations and review for field staff
Participates in agency performance improvement activities, and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care
Compliance/Promotion of the standards of quality set forth by BrightStar Care.
Thorough knowledge of the regulations/accreditation processes to ensure compliance with all Joint Commission, regulatory, HIPPA, OSHA and local, state, and federal laws.
Ensure high-quality customer care is provided at every stage of the client/caregiver touch-points; phone to in-home consultation
Assists with competency of new field staff
Supervises, educates and coaches caregiving staff
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care.  Shares information with appropriate organization personnel
Promotes home care referrals in the health care community
The nurse will provide direct care to clients, as needed
Makes initial client assessment visits and regular reassessments of the client’s nursing needs, as needed
Additional assignments as needed. Perform supervisory visits
Uphold BrightStar behavior standards

**Requirements**:
RN with one (1) year clinical experience, and some office experience in-home care preferred
Current state license to practice in state care is being provided
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
Analytic/Critical thinker.
Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff and community.

Case management skills are a plus
