**About Us**

**Position**: The Stormwater & Wetlands Specialist will partner with employees to implement and maintain the environmental program to promote compliance with regulations and company policies.

**Location**:Main office in Kearny, NJ. The position is hybrid with 60% New Jersey and surrounding area fieldwork required, and one to two days per week in the office in Kearny.

**Pay Range**: $90,000-$140,000

**Key Responsibilities**: Support corporate environmental programs. Ensure compliance with wetlands rules, erosion & sediment control requirements, NPDES, SPCC, RCRA, EPCRA and other regulatory and corporate environmental programs.

**Specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience include**:

- Interpret and implement Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit and NPDES construction stormwater permit requirements.
- Interpret wetlands maps and identify and mark wetland boundaries.
- Review construction contract documents to identify potential environmental impacts and permitting requirements.
- Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations in the Tri State area.
- Demonstrate the assertiveness to ensure environmental compliance requirements are met by others, while considering the spirit and letter of the law.
- Willingness to conduct field inspections to ensure contract, permit, and environmental compliance.
- Instruct field crews on requirements and any noted deficiencies.

- Identify problems, process information, develop options, and implement solutions.

- Collaborative spirit.

**Education Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in a related science or engineering discipline and demonstrated related experience working with and implementing environmental regulations.
