**SUMMARY**: WR Systems is seeking a dynamic and skilled Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. As a Help Desk Technician Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our hardware, software, and systems. **Position responsibilities** will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Manage the ticket queue efficiently throughout the day.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Identify priorities and redirect problems to appropriate resources.
- Handle all designated workstation installations and updates.
- Monitor basic server status through alerts, error logs, and notifications; resolve or escalate issues as necessary.
- Monitor and track system backup logs.
- Create and maintain user accounts on designated systems within the site (e.g., Active Directory, PBX, Help Desk) in accordance with best practices and organizational requirements.
- Provide basic level telephone support to the end-user community on hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- OR three years of related experience and/or training
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Zero (0) + years of relevant technical experience in a break/fix environment.
- Ability to lift and palletize heavy equipment (PC’s, monitors, printers).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of systems hardware, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
