Drywall Estimator

**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Assessment**: Review architectural plans, specifications, and other project documents to understand scope and requirements.
- **On-Site Evaluation**: Conduct thorough site visits to assess existing conditions, project constraints, and material requirements.
- **OST Software Utilization**: Utilize OST (On-Screen Takeoff) software to perform quantity takeoffs and generate accurate material and labor estimates.
- **Cost Estimation**: Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors based on project specifications and local codes.
- **Bid Preparation**: Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that outline project scope, timelines, costs, and any special requirements.
- **Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination**: Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and project feasibility.
- **Client Communication**: Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project details and address inquiries.
- **Budget Oversight**: Assist in budget development and monitoring to ensure projects remain within financial targets.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and construction methodologies to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- **Proven experience as a Stucco and Drywall Estimator with specific expertise in using OST (On-Screen Takeoff) software.**:

- Strong knowledge of stucco and drywall installation techniques, materials, and associated costs.
- **Proficiency in estimating software OST and QuickBid.**:

- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- **Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Estimator) are advantageous.**

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
