Nectar Urban Cantina is a lively, fun, busy locally-owned restaurant that would be a good fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. We have a cafe/coffee shop, in addition to a cantina restaurant serving margaritas and tacos, a bustling backyard with a beer garden and stage showcasing live music. We believe in having fun, working hard and being yourself.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. You will assist the General Manager in managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. If you have a passion for the food industry, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality, we want to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations
- Manage and supervise staff members, including completing daily performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
- Ensure staff is completing their daily checklists and holding them accountable
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Implement effective shift management strategies to optimize productivity

Qualifications:

- Ability to provide extraordinary hospitality
- Previous experience in the food service industry in a management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cost management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices
- Exceptional customer service skills

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
