Recreation Technician

We are looking for hard working and motivated individuals who love the outdoors to become part of the team at the Arizona Nordic Village. We rent out frontcountry and backcountry cabins, host events and weddings, as well as provide access to outdoor recreationists during the summertime with hiking, biking and equestrian activities. Flexibility and proactiveness is a must for this position. This is a seasonal position with an end date in mid November.

Frontcountry/Backcountry duties:

- Maintainence and cleaning of cabins and yurts
- Checking booking software for check ins/check outs/other relevant information for guests
- Stocking of rentals as well as main Lodge
- Answering guest inquiries over the phone and in person during staffed hours
- Cutting/splitting/stacking firewood
- Driving UTV/ATV into backcountry to clean and service units, including moving porta-potties or providing gear shuttles for guests

Lodge duties:

- General cleaning/maintenance
- Putting out tea and coffee in the mornings for guests
- Stocking fridge/behind counter with snacks and drinks
- Manage retail
- Provide information for guests/recreationists

Wintertime duties:
Event/Wedding duties (May-October):

- Maintain neat, clean event space
- Clean bathrooms and make sure they are well stocked
- Answer guest questions
- Throw out trash
- Start/maintain bonfire (if applicable)
- Operate generator

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
